Ridgeline Ed Stafford Forest Smock | Carbon
Developed in collaboration with Ed Stafford, the legendary explorer and bushcraft survival expert, the Ed Stafford Forest Smock is an ultra-durable, waterproof and breathable shell for the very harshest conditions.
The outer, a tough blend of cotton and polyester, is hard-wearing, silent and flame resistant. This face fabric is laminated to a waterproof/breathable membrane which offers a Hydrostatic Head of 10,000mm in conjunction with an MVTR of 5,000 g/m2/24hrs. A loose liner maximises comfort and protects the membrane from damage.
The large, roll-away hood features a wired peak and full adjustability.
The Ed Stafford Forest Smock incorporates a of range of storage options — which could best be described as “extensive”. They include two large zipped hand pockets, a zipped chest pocket and a popper-fastened, gusseted pocket to provide space for all your outdoor or working essentials.
The large kangaroo pocket will accommodate bulky items such as larger work tools or fire wood. Two internal D-rings allow you to keep smaller essential safe and secure, but close at hand.
An elasticated cord cinches in at the back to fine-tune the fit and seal in the warmth — whilst keeping the front of the smock clean and accessible.
A long zip on one side makes it easy to put on or remove the smock and doubles as an underarm ventilation zip; the opposite side features a conventional underarm ventilation zip.
